This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued for EmailBreachGuard subscriptions and how to request one.
EmailBreachGuard is a digital, subscription-based service operated by Bennett Digital Systems. Because access to breach checks and reporting features is provided immediately, refunds are limited to specific situations as described below.
1. General Refund Principle
In general, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins, because:
- Access to the Service is granted immediately after payment, and
- You can use the Service at any time during the active billing period.
However, we may issue refunds or partial refunds in certain reasonable cases, as outlined in the sections below.
2. Situations Where Refunds May Be Considered
2.1 Duplicate or Accidental Charges
If you are accidentally charged twice for the same subscription (for example, two identical payments on the same date), we will typically refund the duplicate charge after verification.
2.2 Clear Technical Issues
If you are unable to use the Service at all during a billing period due to a technical issue on our side (for example, the app is consistently unavailable and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time), we may provide a refund or credit after reviewing the situation.
2.3 Unauthorized or Fraudulent Charges
If you see a charge you do not recognize, please:
- Contact your bank or card provider immediately, and
- Email us at support@emailbreachguard.com with the transaction details.
We will work with Stripe and your bank's dispute process where appropriate.
3. Situations That Are Generally Not Refundable
While we look at each case in good faith, the following are typically not refundable:
- Changing your mind after using the Service
- Not actively using the Service during a billing period, even though access was available
- Dissatisfaction with the specific breach results returned, where the Service functioned as designed

- Any Stripe receipt or invoice ID (if available)
- A short description of the issue or reason for your request
We review requests in good faith and may ask for additional information to verify the situation. A submitted request does not guarantee a refund, but we aim to be fair and transparent.
5. Managing Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- No further renewal charges will be made after the current billing period
- You will keep access to the Service until the end of the paid period
Canceling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for past charges unless covered by the specific cases described above.
